Our mission at StartCPR is simple: Help you save a life.
Our responsibility is to present our clients with the most current science of emergency cardiovascular care, including ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPR/AED, and first aid entrusted to us by the American Heart Association in a way that students can commit to memory. A stress-free environment has been and will remain a promise to every student; there is no other way to learn, or teach.
History
After retiring from the fire department as a paramedic/firefighter, Garry Watkins dedicated his decades of experience in pre-hospital emergency medicine to empowering others by founding StartCPR, Inc. in 2010.
Since then, StartCPR has armed thousands of healthcare professionals, students, and citizens with the skills necessary to save a life.
It is not uncommon for returning students to relay experiences they've had since their last certification. The heartfelt stories of students who have successfully performed CPR on a family member, friend, or stranger make this profession something more than a job. People choose to get involved; at StartCPR, we do not demand they must; we teach them it is OK to get involved when some will not - and possibly provide someone another chance at life.
