Heartsaver CPR & AED
The American Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR AED is an instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. Modules include child CPR and AED use, infant CPR and child and infant choking.
Hands on CPR is practiced with good compressions being stressed; students leave with a renewed confidence in their ability to save a life and make a difference. Fitness instructors, personal trainers, or anyone needing a certificate should register for this class.
A Heartsaver CPR & AED student workbook is included in this course.
With nearly 80 percent of sudden cardiac arrests occurring outside the hospital, it is important that employers offer CPR and AED training for their employees to respond to a sudden cardiac arrest emergency.
